"Jake"

Jake is owned and handled by our oldest son.  He is a beloved pet as well as a hunting dog.  He is a very sweet and affectionate dog with a happy, joyful personality.  His deep, dark chocolate double coat and calm disposition make him both stunning to look at and to be around.  He has a blocky, stout frame with a thick, broad head, and otter-like tail - a perfect representation of a true conformation (aka English style) labrador retriever.  Jake's pedigree is stacked with multiple conformation Champions and Grand Champions.  His dad is a conformation champion and his mom is hunt titled.  Jake is a gorgeous dog.   He has a phenomenal nose on him and tracked his first wounded deer when he was just a few months old.  Although primarily trained for trail/scent work, he is being trained for his first hunt title and is working on mastering obedience for upper level retriever work.  Jake has perfected laying on the couch and riding shot-gun in the truck. He is adored and loved by our family.

Tuff aka "Teeters" is a pup from our Molly x Jager (MH & HRCH) breeding.  He is a sweet, obedient and very handsome gentleman who is beyond spoiled.  Known as the "squeaker toy" of our pack due to his high-pitched bark, Tuff loves people and other animals.  Everyone who visits wants to take "Teeters" home with them.  He is fun and athletic and is an extremely happy goober who is developing into a gorgeous boy.  He is currently being trained for his first hunt test.  He presents with a lot of potential both in the field and in looks.  He is highly intelligent, loves to please and easily learns new concepts.  We are expecting wonderful things from this gentle beast.  

"Covey"

Covey is a trained gun dog that possesses the best qualities of her father (a Conformation Lab) and her mother (a Field Lab).  She is attentive and calm, yet a dynamo in the water and on the field.  Her desire to please and her drive to retrieve makes her a wonderful hunting partner.  She is a very sweet, quiet, and obedient girl, getting lots of attention and belly rubs from her daddy.  Covey has exceeded our expectations as a working dog. She has a soft personality, but she hunts hard and has a strong working drive.  As she matures and ages, she has consistently proven herself to be the best hunting dog in our kennel.  She quickly learned hand signals, whistle commands, and is on her way to mastering complex blind work.  Covey weighs 55 lbs. and is of a lighter bone structure, exhibiting more length of leg.  She has a more narrower head and length to her muzzle.   Covey easily earned her Junior Hunter and Senior Hunter AKC Titles as well as her Started Hunter UKC Title.

   "Molly"

Molly comes from a well-established, tractable line which includes the winningest labrador in history and also a Best of Breed Winner at the Westminster Dog Show.   Molly's strong conformation lines are evident.  She has matured into a beautiful conformation female.   Normally very reserved with a calm disposition, she is full of energy and ready to work when the training dummies come out.  Just like her dad, she is pulled to water and spends a lot of time playing in her pool and water bucket.  She is a gentle and quiet girl with a strong retrieving instinct.  Becoming a mom has only solidified her kind, sweet spirit.  She is affectionately nick-named Molly Moo Moo or sometimes called Ma Moo by our family.

"Jelly Bean"

Jelly is a pup from our Molly x Jager breeding. 

Jelly Bean (aka Jelly, aka JB) is as sweet as she is energetic,  She has definitely inherited her father's (Jager - MH & HRCH) prey drive and love of retrieving.  She's always first in line for attention.  Jelly is still working on her obedience and learning along side our youngest son,  her owner/handler.  She is a wonderful addition to our family.

In Memoriam of our Sweet Boy...

"Prophet"

Prophet was bred specifically for conformation to the written standards of the Labrador Retriever breed. His bloodline was bred from an international award winning kennel.  Prophet weighed 85 pounds and carried a broad head with a relatively short, thick muzzle.  He easily earned his AKC Junior Hunter Title, as well as his UKC SHR Hunting Title.  Prophet was an obedient and well-mannered black male that loved to trail deer and retrieve ducks and doves.  He was a hard-working retriever and a dynamic hunting partner with a phenomenal nose.  Prophet was highly intelligent and his near perfect physique was only complimented by his sweet and gentle disposition.  He was a family favorite and spends most nights in the beds of our children.  His calm demeanor and laid back temperament only added to his presence in the field and water.  Prophet was well mannered, loved children and he had a very calming effect in our home.  We will miss him terribly and are grateful to have been able to have him as a part of our family.
